Galery Space

The Radjo Radjo Aur Duri Gallery serves as the primary space for showcasing research outcomes and cultural documentation of the Minangkabau heritage. Its collection features portraits of historical figures, traditional architecture, and cultural sites that form the essence of local identity. More than a visual exhibition, the gallery functions as an educational platform connecting the public with historical heritage through academically curated narratives. Supported by research from the Jago Pusako Budayo Unit, the gallery presents authentic stories that deepen cultural understanding while attracting younger generations. Its strategic role bridges research, preservation, and public appreciation within the broader mission of cultural continuity.

Tanjung Sawah, Padang Laweh-Malalo Research Collaboration Galery

This gallery exhibit showcases a collaborative research project conducted in Tanjung Sawah, Nagari Padang Laweh Malalo, Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra, Indonesia, since 2018. The visual composition combines satellite mapping and portraits of local elders and researchers, illustrating the deep engagement between the Yayasan Radjo Radjo Aur Duri, community members, and partner universities. The map highlights cultural and agricultural landmarks—such as maqam, pagar batu, and sawah pematang batu—that form the spatial memory of the village. Through this exhibit, the gallery presents how participatory research and local narratives intertwine to preserve heritage landscapes and strengthen community-based archaeological understanding
