The Multitalent Librarian

This book is the third anthology compiled by the Indonesian Special Libraries Forum Team and serves as the output of the online “Inspiration Writing Class” conducted via WhatsApp group from April 27 to 29, 2020, with participants from various regions across Indonesia. The book contains 44 inspiring stories, contributed by 33 librarians/managers from special libraries, 3 librarians from public libraries, 6 librarians/managers from school and university libraries, and 2 family planning counselors who are library users. This anthology narrates librarians’ experiences in facing challenges at work, along with the solutions they devised, while also highlighting the diverse talents that support their professional roles as librarians.

Academic Paper Sematang Pundung Temple Site: Tanjung, Kumpeh Distric, Muaro jambi Regency, Jambi Province

The Sematang Pundung Temple Cultural Heritage Site is a heritage site located on land within Tanjung Village/Kelurahan, Kumpeh District, Muaro Jambi Regency, Jambi Province. Kelurahan Tanjung was established during the Dutch East Indies period in the 1920s and consists of three administrative areas: Tanjung Ulu (Area I), Tanjung Ilir (Area II), and Suak Kandis (Area III). Historically, Kelurahan Tanjung was formerly known as Pasirah. According to information from local community leaders, the name “Tanjung” was chosen because the area’s layout resembles small islands, shaped like fishing hooks, commonly referred to as tanjung. this report was provide by Muaro Jambi Regency Government.

Academic Paper Maek Lanskap

This Report about feasibility study aims to provide an assessment of viability, a clearer perspective on the ideas for developing the Maek cultural area, and appropriate recommendations for the utilization and preservation of this heritage. The results are expected to assist policymakers in decision-making, ultimately contributing to community welfare and enriching Indonesia’s cultural legacy.
The Menhir cultural heritage in Nagari Maek holds significant development potential with positive impacts across various aspects of community life, as it encourages regional growth. The legal designation of cultural heritage in Nagari Maek, particularly the Menhirs, is crucial as a primary step in preservation, followed by area development with detailed utilization outlined in a master plan. The most effective preservation strategy is through educating the community as the main actors of conservation. The Maek Menhir site is closely associated with local settlements and agricultural lands, deeply connected to nature and the environment. Thus, maintaining the Menhirs indirectly supports the preservation of surrounding ecosystems and the natural environment

Academic Paper Stone Structure Korong Surantiah, Nagari Surantiah Lubuk Alung District, Padang Pariaman Regency, Sumatera Barat Province

This are paper work of Preparation of Research and Writing on the Discovery of a Suspected Cultural Heritage Object of Rock Structure in Korong Surantiah, Nagari Lubuk Alung, Lubuk Alung District is the responsibility of the Implementation Team as assigned by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Andalas University for work funded by the Education and Culture Office of Padang Pariaman Regency.
The scope covered in this report consists of:
1. Examining rock formations suspected to be cultural heritage objects located in Surantiah, Nagari Lubuk Alung, Lubuk Alung District, Padang Pariaman Regency;
2. Conducting analysis and observation of the surrounding area related to the use of these rocks;
3. Holding discussions with the technical research team;
4. Presenting the study results and explaining detailed recommendations based on the research findings.
The entirety of this scope serves as the basis for compiling the Research and Writing Report on the Discovery of a Suspected Cultural Heritage Object of Rock Structure in Korong Surantiah, Nagari Lubuk Alung, Lubuk Alung District.

The Struggle of Raden Hamzah bin Pangeran Oejoet in the Dynamics of Jambi Society’s Resistance Against Colonialism and Supporting Data from Archaeological Remains in Jambi Province

Through the preparation of this manuscript, the Raden Hamzah Putra Pangeran Ojoet Foundation, in collaboration with the Center for Data on Artifacts and Nusantara History (PUDAS) Foundation in Jambi, is committed to presenting an academic foundation that is objective, measurable, and data-driven to strengthen the historiography of local struggles as an integral part of Indonesia’s national history.
This manuscript is expected to serve as a scientific reference as well as a supporting document in the process of recognizing the services and contributions of Raden Hamzah bin Pangeran Ojoet in accordance with applicable standards and criteria.
The preparation of this academic manuscript is also intended to meet academic, educational, and cultural needs, making it useful for policymakers, researchers, educators, students, and the wider public. Through this study, the values of exemplary conduct, courage, dedication, and the spirit of struggle demonstrated by Raden Hamzah bin Pangeran Ojoet are expected to be understood comprehensively within the historical context of his time.
